B-Better was formed in Spring 2004 to encourage self achievement through hip-hop.

Hip-hop has been perceived in many forms since being recognised as a culture in the 70's, but it is built around a few key things that sometimes are ignored or segregated by the world media. The term 'hip-hop' is often likened to gun crime, drugs, prostitution and a number of other things society frowns upon, but at B-Better we strive to re-educate the general public on the true essence of hip-hop through its artforms. We hope that by displaying the four elements of hip-hop in their purest forms, either through classes, workshops, events, seminars, 'battles' (or competitions) or demonstration, we might help provide an outlet for your creativity. Let's not forget, that hip-hop was born in a small district in the Bronx, New York, by youths who were perceived to have no real 'talent', but 3 decades later the term 'hip-hop' is used to sell everything from cars to candy bars.

Through creativity, courage and self-expression all things are possible.
